Review of yesterday's matches.

Slovenia scored first against a dominant England. Therein lay your first angle in. Lay Slovenia. England led 1-2. Then 2-2. A Desmond Tutu. Then Rooney came up with the winner. 2-3. Plenty of trades available there. Ukraine v Luxembourg was 0-0 at halftime. A big surprise. Ukraine ended up winning 3-0 and that was one of the correct scores I went for. Estonia beat San Marino 2-0. There was a 35th minute goal. If you delayed to the 30th minute and layed the 0-0 halftime score, you'd have got a very nice odds on lay. Austria won 0-1 away at Russia. I did say that they were the form side. Backing 0-0 pre match lasted for 31 minutes! Lithuania v Switzerland was 0-0 at halftime. Therein lay your first angle. Lithuania consented to score first. Therein lay your 2nd signal. The Swiss scored the next 2 goals. 1-2. Sweden were surprisingly emphatic in a match I left alone. 3-1. Why? A certain Ibrahimovic with 2 goals. Slovakia were comfortable 2-1 winners v Macedonia. The Liechtenstein match was superb but thanks go to the in-play stats. Liechtenstein scored first. They were odds on to lay. Now this is value! More so in the halftime market. 1.29 to lay Liechtenstein in the halftime market. The in-play stats pointed to Moldova dominating. 1-1 it ended and 1-1 at halftime. If ever you see Andorra, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, San Marino at odds on, please lay it. Quite frankly, Christmas will have come early! Spain won 0-1. Yet again Spain avoided a Euro qualifier draw. Brazil's match for the night owls was a good trading match if you kept faith in Brazil. 1-1 until the 90th minute. They won 2-1. On to today...

Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches.

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised.

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are not the pre-market favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds).

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market, especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

6pm - Kristianstads v Lunds BK  - 1.3 home

Standout Stats

  • 6-1 Lund and 2-0 Lund in the last 2 head to heads flies in the face of the market today.
  • This is 12th v 14th in Swedish 1st division after 9 matches. The sides have 9 and 4 points.
  • Both sides have made poor starts to the season. The last 4 matches for Kristianstads have seen 2-1 loss, 3-2 win, 2-2, and 4-3 loss. Conceding plenty.
  • Kristianstads are unbeaten at home.
  • Lunds have lost all away matches and failed to score in 3 of those matches. They have conceded 2 goals at least in all bar 1 match all season.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • 2 out of form sides. The head to heads go against the betting market. Both teams have made a very poor start to the season. I would be reluctant to play this match but think that Kristianstads will score at some stage.

7:30pm - Montenegro U21 v Moldova U21  - 1.77 home

Standout Stats

  • This is the UEFA U21 Championship match. Not a friendly therefore.
  • Montenegro have only 1 win in 6 matches in this competition. They have recently lost 1-0 to Faroe Islands away.
  • Montenegro are unbeaten in 11 home UEFA matches.
  • In 4 of the last 6 matches, they have drawn matches.
  • Only 1 win in 5 for Moldova. 0-0 last time out v Malta tells us that they are a limited team.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • A match for me to leave alone. 2 really poor teams and not one of these are trustworthy. If you have in-play stats, I would focus on this match as I did with Liechtenstein v Moldova yesterday.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8:15pm - KR Reykjavik v IA Akranes  - 1.35 home

Standout Stats

  • 3-0 KR win last head to heads.
  • This is 5th v 10th in the Icelandic Urvalsdeild after 7 matches.
  • Not indepth research because a) this is early in the season and b) this is Iceland! All I know about Iceland is that Kerry Katona shops there inbetween having yet another child.
  • KR lost their first match and won the next 3 at home  where they won to nil.
  • Only 2 losses for KR this season.
  • KR have failed to score in only 1 match, and that was their last match.
  • IA have only 1 win this season, their 2nd match of the season. They have lost 3 of their last 4 matches and failed to score in their last 3 matches.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Home team with 3 clean sheet wins plays away side failing to score in their last 3 matches.
  • It looks good for the home side but I am not confident so early in this season and in a league such as this.

9pm - Ivory Coast (W) v Norway (W)  - 1.05 away

Standout Stats

  • The Ivory Coast lost 10-0 to Germany and lost 3-2 to Thailand, a Thai team who lost 4-0 to Norway. So there is an element of collateral form there.
  • Norway drew 1-1 with Germany

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I think that Norway could exceed the 4-0 v Thailand  so look for a 7-0 9-0 speculative correct score win to nil today. The value will emerge if this match is 0-0 for a while.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9pm - Thailand (W) v Germany (W)  - Germany unbackable.

Standout Stats

  • This is likely to be the spanking of all spankings for the Thai ladies. Unbackable teams can generally be speculated on in the correct score market. Think big! 0-6, 0-8, 0-11 for me today . The goals tally is the only value angle in today.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Think big correct score and big over X.5 goals markets.
  • Standard rules apply. Goals before halftime too.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

10pm - Ecuador v Bolivia  - 1.69 home

Standout Stats

  • Ecuador won the last head to head, a friendly 0-4.
  • Both sides are yet to win in the Copa America ( CA) in their last 8 matches.
  • Ecuador failed to score in 4 of their last 5 CA matches.
  • Bolivia failed to score in their last 3 CA matches.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • A match I will leave alone in a poor day for football trading. How on earth can we trust these teams who have not won in their last 8 Copa America matches.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1130pm - Bermuda v Guatemala - 1.42 away

Standout Stats

  • 0-0 the last time these 2 teams met on 13th June 2015.
  • This is a World Cup qualifier.
  • In World Cup qualifiers in 2015 , Bermuda won Bahamas 5-0 and 3-0. So 3 clean sheets including the 0-0 v Guatemala.
  • Guatemala's 0-0 with Bermuda is the only 2015 World Cup qualifier in 2015.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Not a match which interests me. Bermuda's clean sheets is interesting but Guatemala are strong favourites.
The only 2 matches of interest for me are the Women's World Cup matches featuring Germany Women and Norway Women. There should be goals, and loads of them.
