Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signaled matches.

Look out for a 0-0 at halftime in matches where we expected goals. Augsburg v Werder Bremen was a ready recent example. Research suggested over 2.5 goals (3+ goals expected). The match was 0-0 at halftime. Where are the goals? Back over 2.5 goals at enhanced odds for the 2nd half. 3 goals were scored in this case.

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialized.

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are not the pre-market favorites. The home team is usually galvanized by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds).

I back BANKER bets with level stakes, re-calculating the level stakes every 20 bets and bet with that new level stake amount for the next 20 bets.

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market, especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

Killer stats are in bold italics. MOTD signals any match(es) I would prioritize my focus on if I had to choose just one or two matches in order to shorten the work load. The English Championship has a reputation for being very competitive and for that is reason I do not tend to visit it! So I do not really have my finger on the pulse regarding the red hot teams and stats and sequences. I have picked out the more clear cut matches, in my eyes, from today's Coupon, and put them in the DRT stripped Bulletin. The Champions League first leg matches - well toss a coin!! There is a glimmer of hope in siding with Bayern Munich. Juventus have had only 3 losses recently in the Champions League, and 2 of them have been inflicted by Bayern Munich (I say recently - it was 2013). Do remember the away goal rule will have a major tactic bearing on these matches.

7:45pm - Birmingham v Bolton - 1.97 home

Standout Stats

  • Birmingham have won the last 2 head to heads 0-1.
  • This is 8th v 23rd and points are urgent for different reasons. A play-off berth for Birmingham, and simply survival for Bolton.

Birmingham

  • No draw in 7 at home.
  • Scored in their last 5 at home.
  • 4 clean sheets in their last 5 matches.
  • 2 0-0's in their last 3 matches.
  • Only 2 losses in 12 matches.
  • Have lost at home to 3rd bottom and bottom!
  • Only 2 draws at home.
  • 2/3rd of halftime scores at home either 1-0 or 0-0.

Bolton

  • No win in 16 away matches.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 5 matches.
  • Conceded in their last 9 away.
  • Only 4 wins all season came at home.
  • All defeats away v top 9.
  • Opponents scored first in 12/16 away.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • If Birmingham lose at home, it tends to be because they have failed to score. They meet a Bolton side who have conceded in their last 9 away matches, lost all away v top 9, and never won an away match this season. I cannot see Bolton keeping Birmingham to nil and winning.
  • Birmingham have scored in their last 5 home matches and kept clean sheets in 4 of their last 5 matches.
  • If Bolton do score first, a 0-1 loss is on the cards but I would keep the faith in Bolton's poor away form coming to bit them and I would oppose them.

  • A mixed bag in head to heads with no real patterns. Brentford won the last head to head.
  • This is 14th v 13th in the English Championship.

Brentford

  • No win in 4 and in 5 at home.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 3 at home and conceded in their last 9 overall.
  • It does seem clear cut. All defeats bar one have come against the current top 8 sides but then solid away from these sides.
  • 14 first half goals in total v 30 2nd half goals in total at home.

Wolverhampton

  • 2 match losing streak.
  • No win in 6 overall.
  • All wins bar 2 for Wolves this season have come home and away v teams 15th and lower.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • The Challenge table makes this clear cut? Brentford only tend to stumble v top 8 teams. The vast majority of Wolves wins tend to come v teams 15th and lower. These stats point to laying Wolverhampton if Wolverhampton lead.

  • Only 1 loss in 14 came last match.
  • 4 clean sheets in their last 5 matches.
  • Not played top 2 away but at home 0-1 loss and 1-1 draw.
  • Away to top 10, we see 2 0-1 wins, 3 1-0 losses and a 1-1 draw. A distinct pattern.
  • 9 0-0's at halftime away.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Both teams are in good form and this could be a troublesome game for Burnley against a Forest side keeping it really tight away to top 10 teams. Forest did lose 0-1 and draw 1-1 v top 2 at home.
  • I will back 0-0 pre-match here in the hope that defences will out and Forest will help contribute to a 10th 0-0 at halftime.
  • A tough match in which to have faith in Burnley today so I will stick with that 0-0 back and hope it is as tight as recent clean sheets would suggest.

  • Boro may be concerned with a recent inability to score 2 goals but then Cardiff, despite solid recent form, simply have failed to score in 5 of 6 away matches v the top 10.
  • I am concerned with the sight of a 0-0 last time out for Boro and 2 0-0's for Cardiff in their last 3. I would consider backing 0-0 pre match and (as we did with Dortmund recently), holding out until halftime where we hope the 0-0 remains intact to enable us to trade out.
  • If the match is 0-0 late on, I would lay the 0-0 (75th minute) given the big Boro scoring record at home at the end of matches.

  • Against 19th or lower, the 1-0's work! 3 1-0 wins, a 2-1 win and a 0-0 v 19th and lower at home.
  • 9 0-0's at halftime at home is 56% of matches.

Rotherham

  • No win in 6 overall and in 7 away.
  • Conceded in their last 7 away.
  • Conceded 2 goals at least in each of their last 6 away matches.
  • Only 2 away wins v 8th and 17th.
  • Only 1 0-0 at halftime away.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • It is hard to trust teams who cannot score more than a single goal. Reading might get away with it though against a very accomodating Rotherham side who have conceded at least 2 goals in their last 6 away matches.
  • 0-0 is in play but with 0-0 sequences, they are more likely to end quickly as we have seen this weekend gone with Hertha Berlin and others.
  • Expectation is probable for a 1-0, 2-1,2-0 scoreline. Rotherham have conceded in their last 7 away so expect them to concede at some stage.
  • If this match is 1-0 very late on (and it could very well be), I would lay Reading (I am talking if it's 1-0 in the 85th + minute).

  • This is the First leg of the Champions League.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I am afraid there is little I can add to the research. I will enter this match in the expectation that Barcelona will score an away goal at some stage. Rarely will the Arsenal defence meet a Neymar, Suarez, Messi front 3! Slightly different than the Hull side Arsenal drew 0-0 with recently.
  • Barcelona have conceded in their last 4 matches so there is a chance that both teams can score today and I would definitely be opposing Arsenal if Arsenal scored first.
  • I don't think Barcelona will be overtly concerned with a 2-1 loss or 2-2 draw as long as they get that away goal.

  • 9 consecutive clean sheets and 8 wins ended with a 0-0 v Bologna. We can assume that the 0-0 result was affected by this up-coming match.
  • 8 clean sheets in their last 9 home matches.
  • Since November 2014, in the Champions League, Juventus have only lost twice , to Barcelona at home and Sevilla away. Juventus did beat Sevilla at home earlier. They have also beaten Manchester City recently home and away.
  • Since August 2004 in the Champions League at home, only 3 teams have beaten Juventus, 2 of those defeats came against....Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich

  • Only 4 defeats since May 2015 in all competitions. 2 of those were in friendlies; One was against Arsenal in a dead rubber Champions League match, and another v Mgladbach in the Bundesliga.
  • Only 1 Champions League draw since 9th Apri 2014.
  • 6 wins and a loss v Arsenal in their last 7 Champions League matches.
  • Bayern have been vulnerable away from home. In their last 7 away Champions League matches, Bayern have only beaten Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb, and lost to Man City, Porto and Barcelona and Arsenal.

  • An intriguing match. The odds are spot on. The market hasn't got a clue, and neither have I. Quite clearly Bayern Munich are vulnerable on their travels in the Champions League, but then Juventus's Kryptonite is actually Bayern Munich.
