It is that month! April signals the business end of the year and we are seeing some Roy of the Rovers stuff from the likes of Darmstadt, who mathematically are still in with a chance of survival. And what about Crystal Palace and Leicester, whose seasons have suddenly been turned around!?
It is like this all over Europe and as I said last week, we need to be aware of the movers, the shakers, and the vacationers (stand up West Brom who have failed to score in 6 of 7 matches since they have guaranteed their survival in the Premiership).
I have been trying to do a weekend review, but stuff just gets in the way. I want to get into the habit of doing a review over at the DRT Facebook page. I think it will be a great learning tool for you to retrospectively see how matches unfolded and what you could have, and should have, done from a trading perspective.
I am also trying to finish an article on niches. Some DRT members can be overwhelmed with having to learn everything. Fear not!
The simplest niche was one we saw in action last night. We have two very strong favourites in Spain, in the shape of Sevilla and Ath Bilbao. They are expected to win. It is 0-0 at halftime in both matches.
You can lay the 0-0, lay the draw, or choose a Correct Score or two for the second half and hope the form research is upheld. 2-1 it ended in both matches.
This ‘0-0 at halftime but not at fulltime niche’ is simple to follow and implement and has a stand-alone excellent strike rate.
So think niches!
I will see you all tomorrow and Sunday I hope for the live chats. The season is ending but other seasons are beginning and we will be DRT-ing all the way to the new season!
And I will be doing some tennis too, so watch out for that. It is the Barcelona Open at the moment. There have been few surprises there. I will be doing some pieces on my simple tennis strategy.
Have a great weekend!
